Seven Great Free Tailwind Templates

By: Mike | May 13, 2025

At Woodmont Interactive, we love Tailwind. It gets flak for being a little wordy when you write code, but honestly, there is a reason it has risen the ranks so quickly in usage: It is very well organized and "makes sense" once you start putting it into practice.

There is a bizarre dichotomy in the web dev world. I don't have stats on this, but it would be a fascinating survey to see how many agencies build their sites in page builders like Showit and WordPress vs. how many hand-code their websites. At least anecdotally, most agencies use website builders. Using a website builder is a great shame and does a disservice to their clients because page builders come with lots of bloat, both in terms of code and add-ons. It is still wild to me that you can't create a simple form in WordPress without adding a plugin. I understand it is a blog first, but come on.

If we can find a way to make a site through Tailwind, we absolutely will, as it gives us so much more control, makes your site more secure, and makes your site run much faster, giving your potential customers a better user experience.

Anyway, there are some great free Tailwind templates out there, and we are rounding up seven of the ones we love in this post. So, without further ado:

1. Lingare - demo

Lingare Landing Page

Lingare is a beautiful, simple template from French developer Laurent Begey. It has a great, clean look that would make it perfect for the frontend of a shop. The demo pagehas it set up for fashion, which would work great for any product. Fashion and tech are the two that make the most sense to me. Excellent site, and if you are looking for the frontend to an e-commerce store, this is a great one to go with.

2. Cleopatra - demo

Cleopatra Landing Page

Cleopatra is a nice, clean design by Mohamed S Abdrabou. It would make a great backend for a website or the frontend to a finance website. It is also super customizable, and one can easily see how you integrate this with a Flask backend and some Jinja templates to create a great site.

3. 11ty Landing Page - demo

Sometimes, simple is just better. The purpose of a website is to convey the information your visitors need. Tom Doeput together a site that does just that. This template can be used as a clean landing page for a product launch or a page for an open-source personal project. It is also super easy to get started and customize, so you can have a nice, clean site up in no time.

4. Tailwind Nextjs Starter Blog - demo

A clean blog site that is easy to set up and looks great? What's not to love? Timothy Lin put this one together, and considering it has 9.7K stars on Github, I would say it has a lot of people who love it. A nice thing here, too, is that it is very easy to customize, as can be seen in the long list of examples on the GitHub page for the template. A great choice is a clean and easy-to-set-up personal blog.

5. Ada - demo

I love a good site that can be easily repurposed for multiple verticals. Ada is precisely that. This site could be used for a product page, as it could be for wedding photographers. If you are trying to get a site off the ground quickly and cheaply, then Ada is a great place to start, and you can easily see how you can customize this theme to the needs of your particular business. Ada was created by Tailus, and they have many other great themes as well, so check them out if you want even more themes that can be customized to your needs.

6. VPN Landing Page - demo

This nice, clean site can be adjusted for many different purposes or industries. In the demo, it is being used to showcase a VPN company. Still, it could just as easily be transformed into a page for a construction company, a physical therapist, or any other type of business. The github repo hasn't been updated in a few years, but that doesn't make this template any less valuable. Naufaldi Rafif did a great job on this site, and it can be a great starting point for a page of almost any business type.

7. Wedding Vendor Template - demo

We can't create a list like this and not mention our own template, could we? We made the Wedding Vendor Template in Tailwind, and if you are a wedding photographer or vendor of any kind, and looking for a great template to use as a starting point for your business that you can get up and running quickly and easily, this is it. We tried to make it as simple as possible to download this template and get it hosted for free. It is a nice, simple landing page for your wedding business, and we hope you find it useful.

Conclusion

Tailwind continues to shine as one of the most flexible, powerful, and efficient tools for modern web development. Whether you're building a personal blog, a product landing page, or a full business site, starting with a well-crafted template can save time and keep your codebase clean and fast. The templates we've shared here—from talented creators across the web and our team—offer a great head start without the clutter and constraints of typical page builders.

If you're serious about performance, customization, and providing a better user experience, Tailwind is the way to go. We hope these free templates inspire your next project and help you launch something beautiful, fast, and user-friendly. Happy building!
