The Giant List of Directories To List and Advertise Your Wedding Business
Listing your business on directories can help you gain backlinks to your site and help give visibility for potential clients. Here is our giant list of directories where you can list your business and links to how to do so. No affiliate links on this page.
Wedding-Specific Directories (most of these are going to be paid advertising to get listed)
The Knot (vendors.theknot.com)
Obviously the Knot is going to be the first one. It is huge. It is also pay to play so it will cost you money to get listed with them.
WeddingWire (pros.weddingpro.com)
WeddingPro.com allows you list your wedding business on both The Knot and Wedding Wire.
Bridal Guide (bridalguide.com)
Bridal Guide is an online wedding magazine through which you can advertise your services
Here Comes The Guide (herecomestheguide.com)
Here comes the guide is a bit more venue specific but can be a good one if you are looking to get your venue in front of more brides.
Wedding Chicks (weddingchicks.com)
Wedding Chicks is another online magazine style resource for newly engaged couples and covers a wide range of wedding topics
Style Me Pretty (stylemepretty.com)
Create a portfolio on Style Me Pretty to reach brides.
Junebug Weddings (junebugweddings.com)
With over 500K active monthly users Junebug Weddings has a lot of users that can view your profile.
OneWed (onewed.com)
OneWed allows you to create a free profile as vendor!
BridalTweet (bridaltweet.com)
Create a free profile to join BridalTweet?s community of brides, grooms, and vendors.
WeddingVibe (weddingvibe.com)
This is kind of a neat idea in that you do a giveaway that is promoted for a month on their website and then a winner is chosen.
ReceptionHalls (receptionhalls.com)
Another freebie for those looking to advertise a reception hall or venue. They also have paid plans that start at very reasonable prices
Photography-Specific Directories:
The Wedding Photojournalist Association (wpja.com)
If you shoot in a photojournalistic style this is a great place to list your work.
Fearless Photographers (fearlessphotographers.com)
Very nice community where you can earn awards for your photography!
Photographer's Directory (photographersdirectory.com)
Pay directory but the prices are reasonable if for nothing else to gain another backlink.
Professional Photographers of America (ppa.com)
Geared toward the business side of photography PPA offers many benefits and resources beyond just a business listing (although they give you that too!).
International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ispwp.com)
Similar to PPA but you know? international!
Shoot & Share (shootandshare.com)
Not as much of a directory as it is a gallery to show your work but they do have a nice free option which makes it easy to set up a gallery.
Local Directories:
Yelp (yelp.com)
Yelp - please add your business on Yelp. It?s free and they have a ton of domain authority. No excuse to not list on this one. Plus your get 30 days of free advertising when you list your business.
Google My Business (google.com/business)
Another no brainer option. This has the advantage of adding you to Google maps. I will say getting your info on here can be a bit finicky sometimes but for a local wedding business Google is an absolute must.
Bing (bingplaces.com)
Bing may not be quite as big as Google but they are still plenty big with enough business to make any small business owner happy. Another easy add here.
Yellow Pages (yellowpages.com)
The old school original. Kind of amazing it is still around. If you are old enough to remember the big yellow book showing up on your doorstep then you are at least as old as me!
Manta (manta.com)
Easy to add your business for free and it has a good domain rank score of 87. Definitely worth a backlink.
Hotfrog (hotfrog.com)
Easy to add your business for free and it has a good domain rank score of 80. Definitely worth a backlink.
Citysearch (citysearch.com)
This one has a good DR of 84 but it is a bit strange on how to add your business to the site. You first need to go [Data Axle](https://local-listings.data-axle.com/search) and search for your business. If it is not there (which it probably won't be) you then need to click on the email us or phone number link and contact someone at the company. Then they will set you up to get your business listed.
Foursquare (Foursquare.com)
Good DR of 91 but it doesn't have a place to add your website so from a SEO perspective the benefits may be a bit limited
General Business Directories:
LinkedIn (LinkedIn.com)
This is an easy one to add your site. First you need to have an account and then you can create a business page and set up your business.
Alignable (Alignable.com)
Another business social network. DR of 85 is a good score and definitely worth an add.
Chamber of Commerce (chamberofcommerce.com)
This is free and definitely worth it, it has a DR of 83 after all, but I will warn you that I got a lot of sales outreach from them after I submitted my business. It wasn't that bad but just sort a warning if you want to avoid that sort of thing completely.
Crunchbase (crunchbase.com)
Another solid free option with a DR of 90. You need to first connect your linkedin profile which the team at Crunchbase then approves and then you can add a company profile.
Superpages (superpages.com)
This might just be Yellow Page because the link for adding your site goes back to the Yellow Pages but I just added mine anyway. Why not right?
EZLocal (ezlocal.com)
EZ to add your site to this directory. They also have a service where they add and sync your site to 30+ othe directories. That part is parid but if you want to get your business added to a bunch of other sites quickly it could be worth it.
MerchantCircle (merchantcircle.com)
MerchantCircle has nice wasy interface for adding your business and a very good DR of 85
Bark (bark.com)
Quite easy to add your business but this site is focused more on providing leads so there is no public link back to your site. DR 88
Bonus! Photography Networks & Communities:
Each of the items below is a community focused on photography. If you have photos to share of your business (or especially if you are a wedding photographer) these can be nice additional places to add your info.
- 500px (500px.com)
- Flickr (flickr.com)
- Instagram (instagram.com)
- SmugMug (smugmug.com)
- Zenfolio (zenfolio.com)
Hope everyone found these helpful. Check back every once in awhile as we will try and come back and update this list as we find new sites.
